Part Time Academy Physiotherapists
Casual, as and when required
Within the Football Development & Support Centre (FDSC) at the Staplewood Training Ground, we are looking to recruit casual Physiotherapists who are able to work as and when required within our Sports Medicine & Science team.
The Sports Medical & Science team aims to improve and develop the medical provision for its academy schoolboys to ensure they can achieve their full potential. Due to this and the ever expanding games programme from our Academy Category One status we need to recruit casual physiotherapists who can cover weekend games, midweek sessions and evening clinics as and when required, dependent upon experience.
Successful candidates will be required to assess and treat pitch side injuries, making appropriate decisions on treating these effectively. You will be required to work at the Clubs Staplewood Training Ground in Marchwood, Southampton as well as occasional away fixtures.
You will require excellent communication skills in order to pass information between players, coaches, sport scientists and the medical team to ensure we provide the most effective treatment and rehabilitation.
There will also be an opportunity for participation in a broad range of CPD sessions covering a variety of topics.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
ESSENTIAL
• CSP/HPC registered.
• BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy (min 2:1 qualification).
• Extensive manual therapy skills.
• First Aid Qualification (although we will train you up to this if not currently qualified)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
DESIRABLE
• Previous experience working within a sporting environment preferably with young players.

Head of Retail Catering & Logistics

Halo Conferences & Events are seeking a pro-active leader of the Retail Catering and Stock Management Department that will achieve two main goals:
• Retail Catering: Drastically increase revenue through faster, better and more efficient customer service.
• Stock Management: Create a system that will account for every pound of stock within the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful running of the Retail Catering Operation on both Match Day and Non-Match Days as the leader of the Public and Stores department. You will have responsibility for managing staff and liaising with the team to deliver the retail operations, maximising on profitability and controlling stock management, whilst ensuring operational efficiency and at all times with the aim to exceed client expectation.
The successful candidates will possess the following skills:
• Must have experience in a leadership role within Hotels, Stadia and/or Events;
• Must have experience in managing a casual workforce;
• Must be driven, enthusiastic and be of strong character;
• Must be well presented and have exceptional attention to detail;
• Must have very good experience with IT based stock management and EPOS systems;
• Must be able to manage a high workload whilst maintaining professionalism.

Chef de Partie

Halo Conferences & Events are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the culinary department within St. Mary’s Stadium. The role will be responsible for assisting with the preparation, presentation and serving of the food offered to guests attending all functions and events; including Match Days.

We aim to provide a true 5* service to our customers and clients and want the successful candidate to buy into this vision and help us facilitate the delivery of all services to an exceptional standard.
This role will ensure that at all times, the kitchen and associated areas meet and where possible exceed the legal and company health and safety requirements. You will also be required to help with the co-ordination of the casual chef and kitchen porter rota ensuring operational efficiency.
The successful candidates will possess the following skills:
• GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths;
• City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or NVQ Level 2 or 3;
• Essential conference, banqueting and operational experience;
• Essential large catering operation experience;
• Experience in the Catering industry desirable;

• Knowledge of Health & Hygiene legislation and advanced food safety;

IT Support Analyst Apprentice
Monday to Friday, including one day at College
The Apprentice will be part of an IT team providing 1st and 2nd line telephone, email and desktop support on a variety of applications including MS Office, Windows XP/7, Active Directory, desktop hardware, printers, laptops, Blackberry devices etc.
The Apprentice will complete a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecommunications Professionals, achieving a BTEC Level 2 Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles (QCF).
This is a visible, user facing role where you will be part of the IT team supporting Southampton Football Club’s business critical systems, ensuring timely resolution to incidents, service requests and problems. As well as possessing strong technical skills, the successful applicant will be approachable, helpful and customer focused with the desire and motivation to succeed.
The successful candidates will possess the following skills:
• An active interest in computers system.
• Home or business networking experience would be advantageous.

Our Retail outlets at St. Mary’s Stadium and West Quay shopping centre can serve a large number of customers on a daily basis.
The successful candidates will need to be flexible supporting current staffing levels during busy periods as well as covering any absences on an ad-hoc basis.
