Calum Chambers, Sam Gallagher, Harrison Reed and Matt Targett have all been selected for England Under-19s’ forthcoming training camp next week.

The quartet are due to meet with the rest of the squad to train at Mickleover Court on Tuesday 13th May, having retained their places from the squad that beat Turkey in a friendly in early March.

Saints’ four representatives will hope to impress enough to be picked for the upcoming UEFA U19 European Championship Elite Round – a decision to be made before the 23-man group link up on Thursday 15th May.

If selected, the Southampton youngsters will join up with the others again on Sunday 18th May at St George’s Park ahead of the qualifying stages for July’s Euros to be held in Hungary.

England’s three Elite Round games, all of which are hosted on home soil, begin with a welcoming of Montenegro on Saturday 24th May – to be held at Walsall’s Bescot Stadium with a 3pm BST kick-off.

A visit of neighbours Scotland follows shortly after on Monday 26th May at 7.30pm BST, with Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium acting as the venue.

Ukraine provide the Young Lions’ final Elite Round opponents on Thursday 29th May – kick-off 3pm BST – which will also take place at Burton’s ground.
