This weekend’s SAINTS magazine carries an in-depth and exclusive interview with Fraser Forster ahead of Saturday’s game against Chelsea.

Forster discusses the team’s fine form since his return to action after nearly a year out through injury. The goalkeeper’s last full game before he suffered that blow was a man-of-the-match performance against Chelsea, and he’s confident of another good team display against the Blues.

If Forster can lead Saints to a seventh successive Premier League clean sheet then he will have equalled a club record which was set in 2001 by Paul Jones.

We caught with Jones to discuss that feat, with the former Saints man also rooting for his old club to continue their recent upturn in form.

The magazine also pays tribute to former Saints and Chelsea man Peter Osgood as the tenth anniversary of the striker’s untimely passing approaches.

Saints Academy goalkeeper Harry Lewis is the subject of our development squad interview, with the 18 year-old reflecting on his start to life at Southampton after breaking into the Under-21s squad earlier this week.

There’s a full report and action photos from the trip to Swansea City, as well as our ‘fan in the stand’ perspective.

What’s more, we continue to look back at the last season of football at The Dell, find out more about Southampton’s footballers in World War II, and hear some further anecdotes from Herbie Taylor’s time as a tour guide at SFC.

All this plus the thoughts of Ronald Koeman and Kelvin Davis, provide you with plenty of pre and post-match reading.

SAINTS is available to pre-order online now at saintsmatchdaymagazine.co.uk where you can also find back issues and order future editions from this season.

Saturday’s edition of the magazine will also be on sale – as always – in and around St Mary’s Stadium, priced at £4.
