Video: Lovren targets World Cup spot

Southampton defender Dejan Lovren speaks exclusively to our YouTube channel on the back of a 4-1 win over Hull and looks ahead to Croatia's 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying play-off against Iceland.

Dejan Lovren says he's aiming to secure his spot at next summer's World Cup finals as he gears up for the first leg of Croatia's 2014 FIFA World Cup play-off.

Croatia face Iceland in Reykjavik tomorrow before playing the home leg in Zagreb next Tuesday evening, with Lovren hopeful that he can follow a number of his Club teammates in securing qualification for next summer's tournament.

"I have a lot of confidence," the defender told Southampton's official YouTube channel, "but they will still be two tough games against Iceland.

"I hope we will win but it won't be easy. We are expecting a lot of snow in Iceland, but we will search for two wins.

"It would be amazing for me [to play in the finals]. We have a lot of players who are going to the World Cup, so I hope I will join them."
