The prestigious youth competition – which Saints are previous finalists of – returns with Jason Dodd’s side hoping to progress further than last year’s fifth-round exit at the hands of Nottingham Forest.
For most, if not all the team, this is the first opportunity that the youngsters have of playing in front of a crowd and on the hallowed St Mary’s turf.
Current Saints first team stars James Ward-Prowse, Luke Shaw, Calum Chambers and Jack Stephens were all involved in the tournament last season, and now the next generation of Southampton stars are preparing to perform on the big stage.
Give the boys your support when the FA Youth Cup comes to town again on Monday 10th December with a 7pm kick-off against Everton.
Tickets will be available to purchase on the night with entry granted via cash turnstiles in the Itchen North Stand from 6pm.
These are priced as follows:
Adult - £5
Concession - £3
Meanwhile, there’s another chance to catch a glimpse of Saints’ young stars when the Under-21s
play their Manchester United counterparts at St Mary’s on Monday 3rd December.
Martin Hunter’s development side are still fighting for an Elite Stage slot in their group and will be hoping to go one better than their 3-3 draw with the Red Devils up in Lancashire last month.
This fixture is scheduled to kick-off at 7pm with the Itchen North turnstiles opening from 6pm.
