The Saints Academy is at the heart of Southampton Football Club's future.

Working at the Football Development & Support Centre at the club's Staplewood training base in Marchwood, the Saints Academy is where our team of tomrrow will come from.

In the past, the Academy has produced notable players for the first team, with a track record including the likes of Mike Channon, Matthew Le Tissier, the Wallace brothers, Alan Shearer and Francis Benali through to Wayne Bridge, Theo Walcott and Gareth Bale in more recent seasons. The latter duo both beat Danny Wallace's previous record as the youngest player to appear for Saints.

The aim is to use the Saints Academy as a platform for fast-tracking the outstanding talent within the Academy, with its growing reputation attracting a calibre of players who can be nurtured as first team stars at Southampton Football Club.
