The production line at the Saints Academy has stirred into life again as the latest crop of youngsters prepare for their first full season at the club. We welcome the class of 2009…
The Academy continues to go from strength to strength and following on from last season's double figure strong intake, an additional ten youngsters have signed up for the opportunity to become the Saints players of tomorrow.
Becoming a full-time scholar is major achievement in itself, but the opportunity to now break into the professional game is a chance that the Class of 2009 will want to grab with both hands.
Following on from yesterday's introduction to five of the latest hopefuls, here are the second five of the ten who are settling into their new home at the Academy Lodge this week:

Agile midfielder who joined the club when he was 7 years-old. His father, Mark Chamberlain, is a former coach at Saints and he opened the door for a trial which ultimately proved successful.

Confident wide player who was recommended to Saints by his Sunday league coach. The Yeovil youngster has been at the club since he was nine years-old.

Another powerful addition to the intake, Jordace possesses pace and a willingness to get forward often. He joined the club at 14 years of age after he was picked out whilst playing for his Sunday league club, Wright Choice.

A prolific goal scorer who broke into the Under-18's last season where he finished the campaign as top marksman with eight goals to his tally, despite starting the majority of his games on the bench.
Spotted by Saints' scouting network, he has been at the club since he was eight years old.

Clever forward who has enjoyed four years at Saints having previously played in the Tyro league for Oakwood Rangers the same league that current first team forward, Jamie White played in. Hoskins joins from his home town of Dorchester.
