Market Researcher

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Southampton Football Club are currently looking for a confident and pro-active Market Researcher to join the Sponsorship team at Southampton Football Club.

The successful candidate will be required to work Monday - Friday and all home match days.

The Market Researcher will be responsible for making outbound calls to local businesses, primarily in Hampshire and Dorset. They will effectively gather information by confidently asking the right questions and then recording the information on the database. During a match day the successful candidate will network with corporate clients and ensure their match day experience runs smoothly.

It is essential that all candidates have experience of working in a busy telemarketing environment and that they have exceptional telephone communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to effectively read people's reactions over the telephone and will be confident in gathering information.

Due to increased funding we have positions available for A1 Assessors. You would need to be competent in Spectator Safety and/or Customer Service. You will be assessing the performance of Stewards on Match Days and providing reports to the Training Manager in line with National Standards.

The successful candidate should have the following skills and competences;

· Qualifications - A1 Award of D32 & D33

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work to tight deadlines

· Good time management skills

· Excellent team player
