The reserves ran out 5-0 victors over Swindon Town at Staplewood on Wednesday evening.
Five different scorers pitched in as four of the goals came in during the second half on a foggy night at the Club's training ground for the top of the table clash.
Saints opened the scoring on 37 minutes when Kayne McLaggon's cross was parried into the path of Tom Dunford, and the Isle-of-Wight born midfielder slotted the ball home inside the six yard box to give the hosts a deserved lead going into the interval.
Within a minute of the re-start, Stewart Henderson's side doubled their advantage when captain for the evening, Anthony Pulis knocked the ball in from close range after Dan Seaborne's header was dropped at the feet of the former Stoke City man.
Saints went close after that through chances from Simon Gillett and Jamie White, before the floodgates opened in the last quarter of an hour.
McLaggon, who had showed plenty of energy all game, looked odds on to score on 76 as he tricked his way through the area, but was brought down by the outstretched arm of 'keeper Jakub Jesionskowski. The resulting penalty was dispatched by Jamie White, who drove his shot into the bottom corner.
Four minutes later, White turned provider as he chased a lost cause on the left and then picked out Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the far post, and the youngster had the simple task of putting the ball in from close range to make it 4-0.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was substituted with five minutes or so left to play, and his replacement completed the scoring as fellow first year Academy scholar, Sam Hoskins finished smartly under the 'keeper from McLaggon's assist on the left.
The win marked Saints' final home fixture of the season, as they prepare for their three remaining fixtures of the campaign away from Staplewood.
