Saints vs. Hearts latest

Posted on: Sat 25 Jul 2009

Alan Pardew will take his seat in the dugout at St. Mary's for the first time when Saints face Hearts on Saturday. Kick off 3pm.

Reminder to supporters - Only the Kingsland and Itchen stands are open for the game. Anyone who has purchased a ticket elsewhere will need to relocate to these stands. There will be an unreserved seating policy in both stands.

Pardew will field a strong line up against the Scottish outfit as he continues to assess his squad at the sharp end of pre-season.

New signing Dan Harding may feature after settling into his new surroundings but winger Lee Holmes remains absent from selection, the winger is however, making good progress and is due to return to full training by the middle of next week.

Only two other players are unlikely to be risked as they end the road to recovery. Striker Jamie White and midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin have missed the last week of training but are both now set to return to training on Saturday after overcoming ankle and knee injuries respectively.
