Saints boss Alan Pardew looks set to make several changes to his side this evening as Saints go in search of their first win of the season…
Defender Graeme Murty may travel, but is rated as doubtful with a dead leg picked up in Saturday's 3-1 defeat against Huddersfield Town.
Otherwise there are not thought to be any fresh injury concerns for Southampton, with Kayne McLaggon (Achilles) and Joseph Mills (hamsting) both remaining sidelined.
"I will probably introduce some fresh legs because we've got games thick and fast and it's a demanding start to the season, but we've got to start picking up points," Pardew said.
"Swindon are still finding their feet, a bit like us, but Danny Wilson will be putting out a good side.
"He always plays the game the right way and I think he's a terrific manager and a really good guy. I'm looking forward to seeing him and sharing some discussion after, but the main priority for us is to win."
Saints' latest arrival, midfielder Jacob Mellis, could also be in line for his first start following his appearance from the bench on Saturday, but Pardew refused to be drawn on his plans up front.
"I'm going to have to swerve that question completely," he joked when asked about the likely partner for Rickie Lambert up-front.
Lambert looks certain to start the game, having scored in every game so far for both Saints and Bristol Rovers, but the former West Ham boss also has both Polish strikers Grzegorz Rasiak and Marek Saganowski at his disposal, as well as home-grown youngster Matthew Paterson.
For the hosts, new loan signing Tope Obadayi could be set for his first Swindon start after coming off the bench on Saturday, whilst Lee Peacock, Kurt Hammonds and Hasney Aljofree all miss out through injury.
