Defender Dan Harding will be treating Saturday's home game with Yeovil Town like any other.
The 25 year-old left back had a brief trial at Huish Park during the summer after his release from Ipswich Town and thinks it is wrong to consider the match as a 'David and Goliath' encounter.
"I don't think that's fair," Harding said. "You have to take each game as it comes, we can only go out there and play well as a team and as individuals which is what we're aiming to do all the time.
"Maybe some teams underestimate the lesser names in the division, but we're not like that. We've had a good week, we've built up to the game properly and professionally so hopefully we're going to put in a good performance and get a good result too."
However, the Flybe Player of the Month for August at Saints believes that this weekend's game may be a different kind of game for the hosts this time around.
"Some teams will come here to frustrate you by setting themselves up defensively. However, it's up to us to play well and break them down.
"I think against Colchester last time here we ended up playing better against eleven men than we did against ten, so it becomes a learning curve for us as well, but that's something that comes with playing at a big club."
Harding feels that Saints are slowly building the momentum of a strong run of results in the division which could be sparked off by a positive result this weekend.
"Our performances have been getting better and it's about time that we produced and got a win. We've all been pulling in the right direction and we have a few more players on board than we did a few weeks ago which all helps.
"The last four performances have shown steady improvement and when we went away last weekend we fancied our chances of a result. A point was a little disappointing at the end of the day, but we've got to take the positives and hopefully get a good result this Saturday.
"We're looking a lot stronger," he added. "It's all coming together now and I think that when we do get that win we will take that confidence with us. We've got the ability on the pitch now to get a good run going.
"We might be going into every game expecting too much because the club, the fans and the players want to win every game and we're obviously disappointed when we don't.
"There is the extra pressure of the great support that we've received so far this season to get a win for them, but I think it's just around the corner where we will start to repay that support."
