JPT - What Happens Next?

Posted on: Thu 08 Oct 2009

Saints boasted the highest crowd of the second round in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and fans are now eagerly awaiting the Area Quarter Finals draw.

The 9,319 supporters inside St. Mary's on Tuesday evening witnessed a match of high drama, and in the end the large majority of that crowd went home happy after seeing Saints triumph from the spot.

Alan Pardew's side are now in the last sixteen of the competition, which remains split between eight teams from the north and eight from the south, so Saints will face one of the following clubs when the draw for the Area Quarter Finals is made this Saturday live on the Sky Sports TV show, Soccer am:

Northampton Town
MK Dons
Leyton Orient
Hereford United
Norwich City
Swindon Town
Charlton Athletic

Whoever the opponents are, the tie will take place in the week commencing Monday 9th November 2009 in the days following the 1st round of the F.A Cup.

Attention Saints fans! We want your feedback on the 7pm kick-off time which was trialed on Tuesday evening.

Email your thoughts to JPT3@saintsfc.co.uk with comments and suggestions if required for future timings.
