Young Saints striker Jamie White has joined near neighbours Eastleigh on loan for a month.

The forward who recently turned 20 years-old, has made the short trip across to the Blue Square South outfit and will provide extra fire power to the Spitfires' front line.

White signed an extension to his Saints contract in the summer after recovering from a fractured fibula and dislocated ankle suffered in a reserve game during January.

This was shortly after he had completed a temporary spell away from St. Mary's last season at League Two side Shrewsbury Town where he scored one goal before returning to the south coast.

Having since returned to full fitness, White has featured for the second string on two occasions this campaign scoring one goal in the 6-1 demolition of Salisbury City last month.
