Jake Thomson has extended his stay at Torquay United for another month.

The 20 year-old midfielder who recently featured for the full Trinidad & Tobago national side, has featured in four games for the Gulls since joining the Plainmoor outfit late last month.

Paul Buckle's side were unbeaten in six matches before last Saturday's home match with Rotherham United which they lost 2-0, but they then went on to record a 2-2 draw at Port Vale in midweek.

Thomson also played in Torquay's 3-1 win over Cheltenham Town in the F.A Cup first round. The extension sees Jake stay in the South West up to and including the 28th December.

Fellow Saints loanee Michael Poke has played 11 times for the Gulls this season as he continues to feature for the League Two side. The goalkeeper's loan spell is due to expire in January.
