David Connolly's impressive strike against Norwich City earlier this season has been shortlisted for a Football League Award.

The forward's fantastic curling shot against the Canaries in the 2-2 draw at St. Mary's in League One, was voted for by Southampton fans last month on saintsfc.co.uk to represent the Club's best chance in the Mitre Goal of the Year section at the forthcoming Football League Awards.

Connolly's effort is on the shortlist of 20 great goals from across the Football League now available to vote on via the Soccer AM website.
