Saints fans at the Minstead Training Project have been busy turning dreams of having their own St. Mary's into reality.
The recent advertisement on saintsfc.co.uk of free award winning topsoil from the St. Mary's playing surface saw dozens of people flock to the stadium to collect various quantities for their own use.
Among them were Horticultural Team Leader at the Minstead Training Project, John Davies and three of his students, Andy, Gareth and David. (pictured below).

The training project itself is a residential transitional training home and day service for adults with learning disabilities, and they are all huge fans of Saints, so when they saw the opportunity to top dress their own football pitch at Minstead Lodge, they jumped at the chance!
John, Andy, Gareth, and David took their crew cab with shovels and buckets to the ground and have since gone on to create their own 'mini-St. Mary's' at the care home in nearby Minstead, which accommodates 14 students, and a day service for 50 pupils.
The project started in 1985 and the affinity for Saints remains as strong today as it always has done amongst its students.
