Saints have announced that 21 year-old defender Lee Molyneux's contract of employment has been ended by mutual agreement.

Liverpool-born Molyneux had one year left to run on his existing terms at St. Mary's, but both parties have decided that the player can now become a free agent.

Lee made a total of four appearances for the Club, making his debut in a 1-0 win at Barnsley in the Championship after his January transfer window move in 2009. He finished the last campaign on loan at League Two club, Port Vale.

The Club would like to thank Lee for his services and wishes him well for the future.
