Kick4Life Announced As Third Partner
The Saints Foundation is pleased to announce the third and final Official Charity Partner of Southampton Football Club for the 2010 / 11 season.
The official international charity partner is Kick4Life. The charity uses the power of football to transform the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children in the world. The charity works in Lesotho, southern Africa where 23.2% of the population is infected with HIV, leaving thousands of children orphaned. Kick4Life delivers a sport programme that incorporates health education, testing and life-skills development.
More than 25,000 young people have been reached with this life-saving work.

Kick4Life Chairman, David Light said, "We are thrilled to be chosen as the Saints Foundation's international charity partner. Through this link, the lives of many more young people in Lesotho will be changed for the better."
Kick4Life was founded in 2005 by Pete and Steve Fleming from Southampton and was officially launched at St Mary's Stadium. The charity is supported by a range of organisations such as the Vodafone Foundation, UNICEF and the Premier League, whilst it's also endorsed by England coach Fabio Capello.
To commence the new partnership, Kick4Life receives a donation of £4,000 and the Saints Foundation looks forward to developing the partnership in the future.
Club Spokesman, Jordan Sibley commented, "We're delighted to be working with our three official nominated charities for the next two seasons, all of which have a vast array of expertise in their respective fields. We look forward to adding value to their fund raising ambitions and continuing our commitment to make a difference through the work of the Saints Foundation."
