Saints take on Reading in the only pre season friendly at St. Mary's this summer on Saturday. Kick off 3pm.

This weekend's fixture against the Championship side provides the perfect preparation for the new League One season which gets underway at home to Plymouth Argyle next week.

The match re-unites several faces who have spent time at both St. Mary's and the Madejski.

On the coaching front, current Saints duo Alan Pardew and Wally Downes have both worked for the Berkshire side alongside current Royals boss Brian McDermott, who Pardew brought to the club in 2000.

Michail Antonio who scored against Wolves in midweek is amongst a handful of players who are set for a St. Mary's return having featured for Saints at various points in their careers. Others include, Grzegorz Rasiak, Matt Mills, Brian Howard, Alex Pearce and young winger, Abdulai Bell-Baggie.

The only current Saint to have played for the Royals is Dan Harding, who featured in a loan spell at the Madejski at the end of the 2008/09 season, when Reading reached the Championship play-offs.
