The fee Saints owe Brentford for the transfer of left back Ryan Dickson has been set by tribunal today.
The 23 year-old completed his move to St. Mary's earlier this summer, agreeing a three year deal after his contract expired at Griffin Park.
As the two Clubs were unable to reach an agreement on the valuation of the player, Saints had to present their case to the Professional Football Compensation Committee, which took place in London at midday.
League rules state that as Ryan is under the age of 24 the Londoners are due compensation and the ruling decided that the club owe the Bees £125,000 - a figure that was very close to Saints' valuation of the player.
Dickson has quickly settled into life at Southampton, playing in most of the team's pre season fixtures, and after an energetic performance against Reading at the weekend he looks to have done enough to secure the left back slot ahead of the start of the new campaign on Saturday.
