Morgan Schneiderlin will be involved with the French Under-21s again on Tuesday evening.

The 20 year-old midfielder jetted straight out to his homeland following Saturday's League One defeat to Rochdale, and will be involved with Les Bleus as they seek to end Euro 2011 qualification on a high note against Malta in Amiens.

France's hopes of progressing to the finals in Denmark were all but ended after a 2-2 draw with group leaders Ukraine on Friday, which leaves them to complete their schedule at home to Malta on Tuesday, knowing that a win against the Maltese who are yet to score any points, is unlikely to be enough for a top two berth.

For Schneiderlin though, it is another opportunity to impress the national set up in the absence of Lyon's Maxime Gonalons, who is suspended following Friday's game.
