David Connolly and Michail Antonio could earn a place in the starting line up after impressing for the reserves at Plymouth in midweek. Kayne McLaggon featured and laid on the assist for Connolly's goal, so he could also come into Alan Pardew's thoughts.

Jamie White, Simon Gillett and Anthony Pulis are all out on loan spells, whilst Jacob Mellis and Jake Thomson have both been away on international duty this week.
