Saints will check on the fitness of all the players that missed the match against Reading last weekend. Rickie Lambert, Jason Puncheon, Lee Holmes, Morgan Schneiderlin, Dan Seaborne, Adam Lallana and Joseph Mills who came off in the first half of that game, will all be looking to get back into the fold as soon as possible.
Definitely ruled out is right back Frazer Richardson, who continues to recover from a dislocated shoulder whilst Oscar Gobern is also likely to be out after a hip operation in the summer.
