Forecast, tipped as a potential future England keeper, has risen through the ranks at White Hart Lane since joining the Premier League club's Academy and has been a Reserve squad regular in recent seasons.
He was also on the bench six times last season and is well thought of in goalkeeping circles with a reputation as a good penalty stopper. He is also known for his good distribution of the ball, fitting in to the new policy of passing football.
Jan Poortvliet swooped to bring in the 21-year old from Tottenham Hotspur, with the six foot four shot-stopper penning a five-year deal.
The deal was part of an early settlement with Spurs for Gareth Bale with Southampton receiving the keeper and a lump sum in lieu of any future payments.
On 14th August 2009, Forecast joined League Two side Grimsby Town on a one month loan deal in order to get further experience.
