SFC Debut: Preston North End (H) 21st September 2011
Originally a central midfielder, Reeves has made the left back spot his own since joining the Saints Academy ranks aged just 9, although he still likes to venture forward.
He turned down an offer from Bournemouth and has been rewarded with a scholarship place at St. Mary's.
Having recovered from appendix and minor knee operations, Reeves pushed on and featured in the Reserves on a handful of occasions in the 2008/09 season whilst also amassing over 25 appearances for the Under-18's.
Ben has made significant progress after graduating from the Saints Academy and into the Under-21s squad coached by Martin Hunter.
A solid 2010/11 season marked a breakthrough for the versatile left footer as he agreed a two year professional deal with the club to keep him at St. Mary's into his 21st year.
He made his first team debut at St. Mary's playing in another new role, just off the lone striker as Saints progressed to the 4th round of the Carling Cup with a 2-1 win over Preston, where Ben laid on the assist for the opening goal scored by Jos Hooiveld.
