SFC Debut:

Welshman Ryan Doble is a product of the Saints Academy set up and has been a consistent performer at Under-18's level.

Primarily a central midfielder, Doble has also operated as a striker, a role which he excelled in during the 2008/09 campaign, scoring six times, with one of those goals coming during the 3-1 win in extra time against Derby County in the F.A Youth Cup.

Having completed his scholarship at the club, he played in a number of pre-season fixtures under the guidance of Stewart Henderson who coached him at Under 18s level. He played a handful of times back under Henderson in 2009/10 in the reserves.
