18 year-old centre forward who has pace to burn. Garrod is a hard working forward with strong ability in the air he has got the potential to be a prolific goal scorer.
He has been unfortunate with injury having fractured his shin and then needed a hip operation in successive years during his time in the Under-18s which has limited his total number of appearances in the Academy.
Last season he made seven appearances in the Under-18s side and is now a key member of the Saints Under-21 Development squad.
He was named in the first team squad and placed on the bench for Saints' first round Carling Cup tie against AFC Bournemouth in August 2010.
