Consistent performer and regular feature of the Under 18s side having appeared as number one for two seasons at that level.
Dovey is a Southampton lad through and through who has signed for the club that he has always supported. Hailing from nearby Totton, he joined the Saints set-up in 2003 after being scouted at schoolboy level.
After impressing in the Under-21s squad at Saints, Jack made his first appearance in the senior squad when he appeared on the bench for the first team in a Carling Cup Last 16 clash against Crystal Palace in October 2011.
Ahead of the 2011/12 season Jack attended an England goalkeeping development programme at the National Sports centre in Lilleshall.
He was loaned out to local Conference South side Eastleigh to gain some first team experience in November 2011, where he saved a penalty on his debut against Thurrock in a 3-1 win.
